Dear Sullivan County Friend and Neighbor:

There’s nothing more important than protecting you.

I, like you, am committed to a safe community, fighting drug dealers, violent felons and predators, and honest residents exercising their Second Amendment rights.

My entire 38-year career has been dedicated to public service. This includes serving as a prosecutor in Sullivan County, your County Court Judge and Surrogate, Acting Supreme Court Justice and as a Major in the United States Army with two tours of active duty here and abroad.

When I am elected as your District Attorney, these issues will be my top priority.

  • The Opioid Epidemic: Opioid deaths rose in Sullivan in 2019, but dropped in Orange and Ulster. There will be a real war against murderous drug dealers – not just lip service from the Acting DA, who has failed us!
  • Stalled Justice: Hundreds of felony prosecutions have languished in town courts for years, inexcusably delaying peace of mind and resolution for crime victims. I have the answer: As Sullivan County’s Judge, I cleaned up my Court’s backlog and kept it running on time for 23 years!
  • Fairness, Integrity: I will protect all of us, without fear or favor – and I care about us and our families.

We cannot afford for Sullivan County to go backwards. We must Make Our Communities Safe. I’m battle-tested and ready to serve you, and protect you, once again.

Stand up and be counted! Vote! Let’s do this together!

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Frank LaBuda
